Summary

Former entrepreneur and business owner who found a passion for teaching adolescents, I have been involved in the Waldorf education movement for 18 years. During this time,  I have heightened my passion for adolescent development through high school teaching, parenting classes, individual tutoring, mentoring and teacher education. As a pioneering teacher in two Waldorf high schools, I have drawn on my business experience to learn the value of adaptability and setting intentions for future sustainable growth. I currently teach high school humanities classes and courses in adult teacher training. I have also been involved with the CASA program in Orange County for the last 4 years, mentoring at-risk youth and helping them transition into adulthood. For the last 5 years, I have travelled internationally to speak at conferences and lead workshops in cultural perspectives and the purpose of education in 21st century.
